Gender & Multiplicity: A Primer On The Intersection of Transness & DID

This comic was originally made for Transgender Day of Visibility in 2023. We, the artist, have Dissociative Identity Disorder and that causes us to have a unique perspective on gender and transness that, prior to making this, just wasn’t discussed. This comic talks about the intersection of these aspects of identity and sheds light on a demographic that most don’t consider in transgender discussions.

Note: These experiences are our own, and not all DID or OSDD systems will feel the same about all things. For example, some systems do describe their gender experience as genderfluidity. Additionally, these things do not just apply to DID systems, but OSDD ones as well. We specified DID because that is what we have.
